Unpublish your frontpage articles

A standard Joomla! installation can not unpublish frontpage articles without a complete unpublishing from its category too.
This extension can do this for you.

The extension has a backend component to add dates to frontpage articles and a plugin to unpublish the articles from the frontpage as soon as the date (and time) is reached.

It also has a plugin which does the actual removing from the frontpage.

This plugin has 1 parameter.

The "Number of days to add"-parameter is used only if the value is greater then 0. If so the value is added to the publis_up date of the article and compared with the current day.

If the total of publish_up date and the value of the parameter is greater then the current day, the article will be removed from the frontpage.

If this parameter is zero the date in the component will be used.
