You can use the character ! to exlude that user from reading the text. Examples:

user !demopublish this text is readable by any logged in user except  the user named demopublish /user

You can use the plugin several times in one article. And you can also use both ways (in- and excluding) in one article.

Broad example:

This text is readable by anyone. You do not have to be logged on to see this.

user demopublishthis text is only readable by user named demopublish /user

This text is again readable by anyone. You do not have to be logged on to see this.

user demopublishthis text is once again only readable by user named demopublish /user

user !demopublishthis text is readable by any (logged in) user except user named demopublish. this is cause by the ! charachter /user
